I'll be off on my annual camping trip and visit to 'Merica. Expect little from me in the next two weeks.

Doug, how do you rename a forum thread?  I've been looking all around the boards (including through the mod and admin panels) and haven't found anything that suggests it lets you do that.  Clearly it's possible, though - I mean, you've recently done it.

You go to the first post in the thread, click the MORE button in the lower right and MODIFY post.

Change the subject title and save.

Understand, it doesn't change the subject of every replied post, but it changes the subject of the primary one and every new post added.

Hey Paul, Tom is away. He is on vacation for two weeks, which started on the 18th. So we can assume that is almost over.

I will have something up soon.

Yeah, I remembered about Tom.  Guess I was just feeling insecure this morning!

Hey, sorry, Paul. I have been a little busy with work and I also didn't notice that you separated out out thread from Doug's so I thought we were waiting for you to progress our side of things. Sorry, I missed that.

Anyway, I'm away until Thursday. Canada Day celebrations 🍾 ✨️ 😎

Paul, can you give us a quick run down of what our mechanical options are here? Im assuming this encounter is a dice heavy one.

Can you put your Mario hat on and tell us about the plumbing?

Aka, what are we walking into mechanically wise with this system?

I'm happy to do that, but it'll take me a bit and it's already midnight here.  Expect something tomorrow.

I'll be away on holiday from next Sunday to the following Friday, but unlike previous years I'm going to be in 5G range pretty much the whole time, so I'll check in regularly and post when I can.

After another day that's wiped me out, it's now 2:19 am and I'm buggered if I'm staying up any later.  I appreciate your patience, guys - an explanatory post is coming, I promise.  With the best will in the world, though, it's not happening now.

No worries man. I'll be back home this weekend and I'll be able to look in the book and put some time into this

Cool.  You'll all ideally have an idea of the basic mechanics fairly quickly.  I'm tossing up whether I'll set combat encounters or as formally as Doug and I both did in the Darkening of Mirkwood, with a new thread for each round and game stats set out in the opening post.  I'm inclined to keep the numbers a little more back-end-y and see what that does to the flow of the game and its narrative.
