I don't seem to be getting email alerts for new posts. Is there something I should know? I've got literally every option ticked in the notifications settings area, but the only recent notification I've received since joining has been to tell me there is a new topic started... Here's a couple of screenshots:

I am experiencing the same thing, Matt. I need to let Brandon know - he manages our server and database.

Yeah mine goes on the fritz sometimes too. Usually its when I deleted one new message post for a thread and didn't check it, and sometimes I just don't get them if there is a new thread.

@tomcat, not sure if you're waiting on me in the "Alone" thread, but I'm waiting on some direction before posting anything new.

We had a holiday weekend here in the states and I have been busy with my family. I will get game posts going again tonight and tomorrow.

OK, no problem.  Didn't mean to rush you, just wanted to check as that was my first in-character post and I was just a bit twitchy!

Totally cool! I will have a story update posted tomorrow.

I promise that once we get past this end of chapter out of character discussion, it goes at a different pace.

Have seen the new post on Alone, but I'm GMing a one-shot (Mutant Year Zero) on Sat night, so my free time is taken up with last minute prep. Will try to post on Sunday.

He said he was running a tabletop this week and so would be focused on that - so I am sure we'll hear from him soon.

So you guys all know, I am leaving Thursday morning for North Carolina for five days. All of my buddies from Florida are coming to meet me halfway and we are going to have a guys' geek weekend of gaming. So, I will be off line for the better part of this week, too.

I will have a new post up tomorrow for you all.

Yep, still here.  As Doug said, I had a tabletop session on the weekend, and then Monday and Tuesday (today) have been public holidays in Germany, so I've been a bit busy with family stuff.  Typing out my reply to the "Alone" thread now...

While Doug's away, I thought it might be a good idea for us to make some proper introductions.  New Matt has told us a bit about himself, but it occurs to me that I know next to nothing about the rest of you. 

So, kicking off, I'm Paul.  I'm a perpetually under-employed government bureaucrat living in Ipswich (the Australian one).  36, married, two children.  Fond of tea and slightly pretentious hats.  I have a degree in philosophy and I'm working on one in law.  Student of aiki jutsu, though I don't get to train as often as I'd like, because see above.

I've been gaming since 1991, with most of that time spent GM-ing.  I actually don't know how many RPGs I own, but suspect it's slightly over 100.
