Docking Bay 12D [Kara]

Kara had mosied about the Resorts for a good three hours. Having left the Cafe to find a casino and then a few drinks at the bar - a real bar - she felt that she had been separated from enough of her credits, and so decided to make for the ship. She descended from the Resort level to the dockyards and made her way to docking bay 12D. Upon her arrival, she saw many stacks of shipping crates needing to be loaded. The question was, were the crates going into the Aegis? She had watched Caden do some dealings, but had been unable to hear. She made the quick assumption that the Bestinian was taking on cargo. She shrugged, "It can be good money."

Across the bay, hidden by other ships and other cargoes, stood Corbin Sallo. He watched the Aegis and saw the young woman approach. It was one of them, he was sure, but it was not his target. "Where were the rest?" he wondered. Sallo observed as Kara walked up the landing ramp and tapped in the ship's lockout code, and then he thought of an idea.




:ooc: Hey Nick, two things: Do you want to run through some gambling rolls to see if Kara won or lost some money? And I need to know if she consumed any deathsticks or alcohol.

Prior to getting back to the ship Kara had a few drinks at a bar, and stopped by the casino to play a little of whatever games they had.

:ooc: I need two dice rolls from Kara -

1) a Constitution test against DC 10; a failure will give her a -2 test penalty to all actions due to intoxication.

2) a Perception test against DC 20

Also, not sure if you did or not, but I added the 300 credits to your character sheet. If you had too, let me know.

With the ship now open, Kara could see she was still dark within, which meant her friends weren't back. She began to wonder what had happened to them, when something moved in her peripheral sight. She glanced quickly down the ramp towards the stacks of cargo that lay about and knew something, or someone was there.

 Kara saw something move and placed her hand inside her jacket to where she had her blaster hidden in a concealed spot.  She didn't pull the blaster out but waited while she called out.

"Excuse me, but what are you doing here?"
