Gamely, Hathcyn swims on, seeing the eastern bank draw closer, ever closer and knowing that the only other choice available to him is to perish in the jaws of his pursuers.  But his paws grow heavier with each stroke, and each breath comes harder than the last.  Not fashioned for swimming was this form!


:ooc: From this round on, the TN of your tests will start to climb - it's 16 this round.  Tom, as your lead is now at 8/10, you can, should you so choose, try for a high-risk manoeuvre that will double any change in lead.  That'll be a TN of 20. 

Matt, Doug, feel free to chime in with ideas as previously suggested.
