Morirúsë sprung from the board and confronted now by the object of the hunt his wrath was kindled like dry leaves tossed upon hot coals. From his eyes the light shone and his stature seemed to now be that of many times the wood elves. With deft hands and drawing forgotten the ancient blade sprung from it's sheath to compete with the light of the lamps.

"Fell spirit of Gorthaur back through the doors of night we shall cast you!"

The Elf, fearless, stepped up to the beast and swung his mighty sword.

 :ooc:
Morirúsë will attack From an Open Stance. He will be using his Wrath of Fingolfin ability to Intimidate Foe from a Forward or Open stance and still make an attack, he will also be using his sword two handed.

The werewolf snarled deeply upon seeing the Noldor. Antipathy surged through the monster's memories of times long ago when the Elves defied its original Master.

As Morirúsë faced off with their foe, a Silvan Elf found her bow and winged a slender shaft into the werewolf's haunches. At its flanks, Grimbeorn and Esgalwen also attacked.

Eclecticon

Two Elves already have fallen before the great beast by the time it knocks Arbogast sprawling away from the great pelt.  By the time he regains his footing, the battle is already joined, and blade and fang clash mightily.  But amidst the clangour and confusion of the drawing night, Arbogast sees that the wrath of the Werewolf is directed chiefly at the elven lamps, not the living beings beneath them.

As quickly as he may, the Fire-watcher espies the brightest lamp and rushes to stand beneath it.  If these it hates, he thinks, then these I shall defend!

:ooc: Arbogast will be in Defensive stance, using Protect Companion on the lamp, if necessary.

The wolf strove to destroy the lamps. The hated light burned its flesh and in its agony came absolute, frothing rage. Blocking the monster was an even more hated foe - the Noldor Elf - and it would suffer him no more.

With a savage snarl, the wolf lunged on Morirúsë snapping with its terrible jaws.
