The three friends and Olin ran to the rogue's meager home and he collected his hidden trove that he had taken from the tomb. They then sprinted the rest of the way to the King's Rest to collect Nain and their horses. Fifteen minutes after they had gotten their answers from Olin, the Company was riding hard back west to the barrows and hopefully their Sindarin friends, Olin perched upon the back of Fengel's mount.

The companions prodded on their mounts to run the entire distance, and following Olin's lead, they raced into the haunted hills of Tyrn Gorthad. Finally they came upon one looming hill that tombs could be plainly seen, their entrances closed up with brick and mortar. The group dismounted, as they could not get their horses to continue on, and slowly they climbed to the top.

OOC: To put things in perspective, time and distance-wise, when the four men and dwarf ride forth from the King's Rest, the two elves are mounting the hill that contains the barrow.

Understand that Seriand had had to track the wight back to its home some four miles - and they were on foot and moving with care (which equates to about 1 1/2 hours of tracking, then about a fifteen minute search of the barrow before the wights set on them). The time it took for them to travel and climb the hill would have been plenty to accomodate the movements of the other party members within Bree and for them to mount up in pursuit.

It will take the mounted party members just over a half-half hour to cover the distance from Bree to the barrow. This being said, I am going to say that the riders will be on the approach to the hill as Seriand is tackled in the barrow.

A chill runs through Fengel as he remembers his last run in with the undead.  He had succumbed to Cadoc's evil and almost caused the death of his freinds.  With a stern look on his face he says to himself, "That will not happen again".
