OOC: Stefan, Fengel is gesturing for Nain to get up on his horse so the two could close the distance faster and engage the orc archers.  Did you not catch my post?

OOC: Not trying to butt in, but I think any of us should be able to cover the 40' distance with one action, be it on foot or on horseback, according to Tomcat's post; so it might not matter too much either way...

And also Fengel would probably be better off making his spear charge as the lone man on his horse, that attack is devestating and we need all the help we can get! :)

Palandil

OOC: Okay, I thought it was 40 yards.  I'll change my post.  Don't want to insult the dwarf accidently.

Fengel dealt the warg a crushing blow, and again the beast fell.  Pulling his spear free once more, he turns to Nain who had a look of surprise.  "Shall we kill some orc archers master dwarf?!"  With a small kick to Heostor, the horse took off like thunder, bearing down on Fengels next target.

Roll(2d6)+3: 2,2,+3 Total:7

Stefan

OOC:  Actually I didnt see it, sorry about that.  But Nain wouldn't think about getting onto a horse to fight it's just undwarflike.  And with 2 arrows in his back I'm pretty sure that unless you were standing between him and the archers he would be completely oblivious.  He's not much of a warrior but fights like a wounded badger :)

Dirnhael heard the arrows whistle through the air before they struck.
He narrowly dodged the first, but unfortunately, while doing so, he was hit almost simultaneously by two others.
The wounds stung fiercely, and he knew the Company's luck wouldn't hold for long...

OOC: W-h-e-w! That could have been a lot worse. Of course, I guess there's always the next round...

OOC: The scene where Boromir is bing peppered with arrows is running through my mind right now! ;D

Yea, next round is coming but you guys will be on these archers by then and we saw how quickly the others were dispatched.

I will finish my attacks a little bit later today... still need to do the spellcaster and Edrahil. Fengel also needs to give me his Dodge roll.

As Heostor thundered towards the archers, Fengel saw an arrow flying straight at him.  He tried to get out of its way by to no avail.  The arrow struck.  With a yell of madness, he gripped the spear tightly, his eyes bent on the warg and its rider before him.

TN 9 Stamina - (5+4)+3-3=9

OOC: Hey Matt, is Durgil really going to turn from the Orc and Warg that are currently attacking him and race into the 6 new orcs that have come to attack? That is fine if you do, but I am going to give Orc 2 a free attack that you will not be able to defend against (... an attack of opportunity so to speak).

I need a Stamina save from Fengel.

Let me know.
