With everyone in agreement and explosives now stowed, the team rushed around the corner into the control area.

The control room was well lit and immediately, the team saw the heavy stormtrooper standing guard across the chamber. The control room itself had thick panel glass walls on this side that allowed the team to see inside. A gray uniformed Imperial officer sat at his controls along with a blue-jumpsuited engineer and an RA-7 droid. There were two access points into the control room from where the team was - the opposite side a bank of computer consoles upon the outer duracrete wall.

Logar took position against the wall blocking him from the trooper. Sam and Brim followed behind, while Britton took up a position to direct fire into the control room. Kara followed along but then stopped where she could maintain an eye on Kaida, and the noblewoman held position to protect their flank.

:ooc: I'll wait for Logar to blast the trooper and then move to the control room door and cover the occupants.

Logar knew it was now or never. This was going to get bloody. He turned the corner and fired off a shot at the trooper.

The blaster in Logar's hands erupted, flaring brilliant red as a bolt fired at the stormtrooper, but the shot went wild burning into the wall behind the Imperial soldier. Realizing he was under attack, the stormtrooper began to react.

:ooc: Again, he won't be able to act until all of the party go, and if he is still alive.

Tom, you will be able to make it to the entrance to the Control Room using a 2nd move this round, but you may want to hold off on that until you see if the trooper goes down.  ;)

I will roll Brim's attack when I get home from the office.

Brim saw the trooper beginning to react to their presence and watched as Logar'Dan's shot flared into the wall behind him. He levelled his blaster and fired. He feared that the power of the blaster in his hand may not be enough.

Sam will move NE to stand beside Birtton south of the control room entrance. He scans behind them into the spaces that were hidden from their previous view from this new vantage point.
