OOC: Dirnhael's motivational speech will be considered a soliloquy of sorts; that and the heroic task that the companions are undertaking will grant a +6 to all opposed Fear tests. This modifier will last for 15 minutes, though it could be re-constituted based on RP'ing.

With a shout and a thump of shield against the ancient stone wall, he bellowed, "Spirits! Stand aside lest ye suffer the consquences! The Free Peoples have come to re-claim their own!" --Intimidate (Power) +7: Roll(2d6)+7:4,6,+7 Total:17

The Company could feel the change in the air of the crypt; Dirnhael's words had piqued somethings interest. Except for their breathing, nothing else could be heard. But then, the scratching of claws were heard as two frail arms appeared from the darkness of the hole in the floor. The companions drew up their weapons in defense as the shadow ungracefully pulled itself erect; from it mottled robes it pulled forth a cruel looking blade.

The shade began to move forward, drawing itself up; behind it another shadow appeared but with this apparition came a greater feeling of dread. Again a child's scream cried out from below...

OOC: Wights attempt to oppose Dirnhael:
Opposed Willpower TN 17

Greater Wight - Roll(2d6)+10: 6,3,+10 Total:19 SUCCESS

Description: There are two Wights within the barrow, they are Defence 11 and one has a -2 penalty to ACTIONS;

Physical Modifiers: No physical modifiers due to torches

Situational Modifiers: Seriand is -2 to Strength and Vitality due to Wight's attack in the last melee

Initiative*:

Wights - 9
Seriand - 8
Fengel - 7
Nain - 7
Dirnhael - 6

*Remember to roll your next round's initiative at the end of your posts

I need Initiative rolls and then actions based on your order in the melee.

* Initiative Roll: Roll(2d6)+2: 2,2,+2 Total:6 OOC - ugh.

OOC: Dirnhael will use a Defensive Attack (he has a +1 upgrade) on the Greater Wight, suffering a -1 to his attack, but giving a +3 to dodge and parry.

Since my Init roll was awful, I'll post his actions after I see what's up. ;)

ST Characters:Stonn, Ramos
SW Character: Caden Whitesun

Stefan

Initiative (2d6+2) 3,2+2=7

Nain is given a momentary pause by the thing.  He'd never seen any creature so hideous.  He felt the fear of the thing creeping into his heart but he pushed it back and advancd against the thing.  His axe swung as he approached, what ever this thing was it appeared to have flesh and bone and that meant that it could be hewn.

Attack (2d6+9) 1,4+9=14
Damage (2d6+10) 6,5 +10=21 (finally a decent roll)

Initiative for Rd 2 (2d6+2) 1,5+2=8

Palandil

Int: Roll(2d6)+3: 3,1,+4 Total:7

Seeing the two foul creatures creep up from the floor gave Fengel a chill.  He shook his head as fear and doubt tried to overtake him.  With shield ready, he raised Cerduil and with a war cry engaged the enemy of life.

Attack: Roll(2d6)+15: 2,1,+15 Total:18
Attack: Roll(2d6)+15: 5,1,+15 Total:21

Initiative - (6+2)+2=10

With the scream of the girl, Durgil is brought back to the reason why he was here.  Mustering himself, he charges down the wight on the far side of the hole (OOC: Doug, could you differentiate between Durgil and Dirnhael with a "Du" and "Di" or something like that?)  "May your foul flesh feel the bit of Silivren!" he bellows.

OOC: If there is enough room to perform a Charge...

AC: Blades (Longsword) - (6+3)+6+2+1=18
Damage: (5+3)+6=14x1.5=21
Strength TN to avoid knock-back/down - 9

OOC: Need to check the book for full Charge effects

Initiative - (1+1)+2=4
OOC: Now he screwed LOL

Init: Roll(2d6)+3: 1,4,+3 Total:8

Seriand felt a chill come up his spine, his feet suddenly felt as if they were large boulders, and his heart felt as if it was made out of the same stone.  The appearance of the wights, followed by the terrifying appearance of the much large undead creature, shocked Seriand back to reality, he had just narrowly survived last time and this time he was going to be sure that he wasn't struck again...

Seriand moved to the smaller of the wights, somehow he was unable to bring himself to face the more powerful one just yet.  Swinging the finely crafted elven blade Seriand used all his strength and energy to return the fear and pain that the wights had caused to him.

Attack: Roll(2d6)+9: 6,3,+10 Total:19
Damge: Roll(2d6)+5: 5,4,+5 -1 (Str penalty) Total:14

Init: Roll(2d6)+3: 4,2,+3 Total:9

OOC: GO dice!  its mah birthday!  Nice rolls for ole Seriand, maybe he won't be pissing himself this time.

OOC: I will just need Durgil's defensive action and Dirnhael's attacks and this round will be over. New round has been posted but hold off until Dirnhael attacks so I may adjust anything that may be necessary.

Thanks

Damage if successful: Roll(2d6)+5:3,5,+5 Total:13

Dirnhael sees Seriand alone against a wight, and rushes to help, quickly but carefully attacking to gain the measure of his foe.

OOC: I started to roll and type out Wight 2's actions, but it was really kind of irrelevant. So, you land three brutal attacks and all would be Extraordinary... you are correct on your weapon, but you also need to add in your strength bonus.

So, three hits at full damage 18*3/2=27

TN 12 Parry - (6+3)+6+2+1-5+3 Courage=16

Durgil is able to bring up his blade in time to meet the blow as the creature attempts to fend off now three attackers.

EDIT: Was looking at the wrong number
