Seriand moved with silent precision as he neared the crack in the floor, wanting to see what was down below he looked into the depths, if he saw nothing he would then move along the passage that was on the left.

Edrahil kept pace with his friend and brought his light to bear over the crack in the floor. Looking down neither was able to perceive anything beyond its glow and so the two moved towards the passage that went off the left-hand side of the chamber.

Again the passage was shorter in height than that of the burial chamber and Seriand and Edrahil ducked down to follow its course. It curved and slowly descended deeper into the hill to at last deposit the duo in a smaller chamber of the same height as the one above. Centered in the room was a large sarcophagus adorned with gold and silver; etched into the lid was the name of the deceased written in Adunaic.

Fengel was right - he was just a boy - and Dirnhael immediately doubted that he had anything to do with the girl's disappearance. However, he might know where the child might have run off to. The boy's information could still be useful.

OOC: If Fengel doesn't stop him in his tracks, Dirnhael will continue to pursue and try to cut him off.
