As her companions rush across the bridge, Laeral nocks an arrow in her bow and lets fly.  Esgawlen, her skirmisher's reflexes as quick as ever, does the same a breath later.

Hathcyn's horn had stirred within her the ancient blood of her forebears, even as her idle thoughts tried to stay her in place.

Running across the rope bridge, Esgalwen let fly an arrow which flew wide past one of the horrors that turned to face the companions. She was good with bow and arrow, as Rangers ought to be, but she knew her sword in hand was a more lethal tool.

Esgalwen left Laeral behind to cover their remaining distance and she drew forth Nimronyn, its silvered steel glinting in the faint light.

:ooc: Her questioning whether they should allow the authorities to handle the situation is my interpretation of Esgalwen's idleness. Hathcyn's horn changed that for her.

I do not want to use a :vv: - for this character, they are too great a commodity. Also - I am naming Arbogast as her Fellowship Focus (so don't go getting hurt!  ;) )
