Situation: The company has been set upon by a raiding band of orcs out of Mirkwood. Caranmîr is currently across the river - depending on his council, it will take him 2 more rounds for him to get back across. Any aid from the river folk will take a bit longer.

Situational Modifiers: The Orcs are 4 hit creatures and the wargs are 5. Penalties will accrue for each hit a creature takes:

Hit 1: -1
Hit 2: -3
Hit 3: -5
Hit 4: -7
Hit 5: Dead or -9
Hit 6: Dead


Physical Modifiers: It is night time and darkness is settling - all creatures will be subject to a -3 test penalty (Night-eyed may reduce this penalty). The Orcs are subject to a -4 fear penalty. Orc 5 [3 HITS] has a -5 wound modifier; Orc 8 [2 HITS] has a -3 wound modifier; Warg 2 [2 HITS] has a -3 wound modifier.

Nori's rage has been inflamed.  "Come ye filth, I dare you! Come feel the bite o' the Demon's Fang!" he cries as he swings to end the orc on the ground in front of him.

[OOC:] Just a reminder, when we are dealing with mook baddies, you do not need to give me the damage roll from your weapon if you do not want to. I only need damage rolls when I give you adversaries who have standard wound levels. I determine the number of HITS a mook takes by DOS...

0 HITS on any Failed roll
1 HIT for Marginal to Complete Success
2 HITS for a Superior Success
3 HITS for an Extraoridnary Success

This being said, I do want damage rolls when destructive spells are being cast (i.e. Donimator's Flame of Anor spell). Also, if you want to roll damage for your own satisfaction (i.e. how much pounding did you put on that orc), feel free, but otherwise it's not necessary. Cool? Any questions, give me a shout.

{OOC}Turumarth will just abosrb the blows from the other two attacks without a parry attempt - the increasing penalties will put him in Disastrous Failiure territory that may make things worse!

Damage taken (leather armour DR 2 per attack) - 10,11,12 pts - 33 total, Turumarth is Wounded (-5 to actions)
