Title: A Goblin Hole - Round 1
Post by: tomcat on Apr 29, 2020, 07:02 AM
Situation: The companions have not been discovered, but they do not have surprise beyond the fact that the goblins think the sounds are their own.

Combat Advantage dice:
• tbd

Situation Modifiers:
• The companions still have the initiative.

Physical Modifiers (complications):
• Thus far, the tunnels and cavern chambers are well lit. Chamber 2 is well-cluttered and may either provide cover or obstacles. Orc abilities, such as Denizens of the Dark, will still function even though there might be torchlight.

Open stance.
Seeking to use the clutter to advantage in the expectation that the hoard will spill out towards us.

Grimbeorn blitzes in the end the incoming threat as decisively as possible.

Arbogast flattens himself against the wall near the opening, ready to attack should Grimbeorn not overcome them quickly.  As the beating of his heart rises once more, he spares a quick glance around the room for anything that might avail the Fellowship.

:ooc: I'm assuming, given the scale of the map, that there's probably only room for Grimbeorn to swing an axe at the two sentries as they approach.  Team Spears might also be able to join in.  In the meantime, I'll make a Battle roll:

:00: 1d12 : 6, total 6
Rolled 4d6 : 4, 5, 4, 5, total 18

:ooc: well that was quick.

At Forward the TN is 8 and the sweep hits both for 9 :<3: - two kills. :o
