Situation: Shade and his Bando Gora make their final assaut in the cavern.

Caden felt a bit more confident after his shots struck their target, but he knew that their enemies were no easy marks - their retribution would be terrible.
He clenched his teeth, found another target and fired.

Kaida felt satisfaction at seeing her and BIT's shots hit the other sniper. But fear edged in sideways as she saw the dark jedi move forward, graceful and deadly. Did the booby trap even hurt him? She prayed Brim and Farok would be able to hold the line. Hand to hand combat was not her forte. She lined up the sniper in her gun again and shot once more.

Swift - aim
Move - aim
Standard - Blam blam!
Shoots at Sniper if Still Up. If not, then at the Captain 1d20+7 : 18 + 7, total 25

Damage if hits 3d8+3 : 8, 1, 1 + 3, total 13

 :ooc:Oooh yeah! That oughtta drop the sniper combined with our shots from last round. ;D Hoping anyway. If he goes down she says this.

"BIT, the sniper is down!" She called through the comm. "Shift targets. If you can take the shot, take out those soldiers engaging Farok or the captain. Caden and Fett, target that captain!"

:ooc: Hey Tom, you have your MOVE action available to you, and the nice thing is that Kaida used Inspire Haste on you that allows you to trade your MOVE action for a STANDARD action.

I also want to remind that if you fire into a melee, you take a -5 to hit unless you have Precise Shot.

BIT acknowledged the order by making a minute adjustment to his targeting and lets loose a bolt from the dark at what appears to be the darker, more menacing Bando Gora (ie. captain).

Ranged Combat - Roll(1d20)+12: 8,+12 Total:20 (25)
If not enough to hit, Force Point - Roll(1d6)+0: 5,+0 Total:5

Damage - Roll(4d10)+4: 5,1,6,4,+4 Total:20

Tom I hope you are just busy and that that post isn't a sign of fading interest. That is the least I have seen you post in a long time. Anyway... the dice roller seems to be going your way now. That is a critical so damage is rolled and doubled:

The dark shape had surged in on Farok and the former jedi parried away the creatures glowing pikestaff. With skill that belied his handicap, Farok brought his lightsaber back down and then shoved it through the Bando Gora's heart. The shadow struggled for a moment and then collapsed, sliding off of Farok's weapon as he did.

Brim is hit for 22 damage, total 62/72 CT -1

Kaida fires and hits the sniper killing it.

BIT fires at the BG captain and yes, you will need the FP roll, thus hitting him for 20 damage, total 24/102

Okay, now I have Brim, Fett and Caden to roll...




The cave is alight with blaster fire. Brim cautiously circles the Shade but then feels terrible pain as a blaster bolt from the Bando Gora tears into his torso. The Rodian staggers back and tries to keep his feet terrified even more now with the threat of his attacker.

Kaida has the Bando Gora sniper in her sights and is pleased to see the shape go down hard with her next blast. BIT, too, brings fire on target and the enemy number begins to diminish.

Farok watched the dark force creature fall to his light saber and collapse at his feet. He had no sympathy, no hatred for the creature, only the force driving him to restore the balance.
Before him he saw the captain. Another foe strong in things other than martial skill. Fighting off the dark attacks of his foes his light saber began to make the low rythmic swoosh has he began tossing it through the air in his distinctive patterns.

Farok sensed that his force student was not fairing well in this fight. Something would need to be done.

:ooc: Okay... well, between amazing defenses and really bad rolls, the Bando Gora suffer no hits.

[EDIT] Actually, I am going to roll a FP for Caden... 10 damage is nothing to scoff at from an area attack:

:ooc: Wow... just wow... the dice have failed me tonight.

Bando Gora soldier misses Brim

Bando Gora captian misses Farok, even with an opportunity with a Force point! Nor does he get back the hit points, because he missed.

The only good (or maybe bad) thing is Shade was VERY successful in maintaining his Force Grip on Brim. With a 27 result, he does damage of 6d6...

Brim is rendered unconscious, but not dead due to the Threshold not being overcome... I will post more on this later tonight or tomorrow and get the new round setup. For now I am going to hang with my wife.

 :ooc:WOW Doug's dice roller finally works against him. The RPG fates smiled on Farok for this round. Next round though I'm sure it will be bussiness as usual and I'll be rolling up a new guy.

Blaster bolts, lightsabers, and force pikes flared in the darkness of the cave. The Bando Gora were being hard pressed, but even the heroes were overcome. Brim fought desperately against the large skull-masked creature before him, but he could not overcome the Force grip that Shade held him in. The Rodian felt his windpipe being squeezed closed and he even was lifted to the balls of his feet. Unable to breath and exerting himself against his attacker, he was overwhelmed and blackness enveloped him.

Across the cavern chamber, Farok watched as the shape of Brim went down to the floor. He reached out with the Force to determine whether he was still alive but could not tell over the oppressive power of Shade. The man realized that this was no desert cheiftain, no drug runner, or pirate that he faced. The Shade was a deadly foe draped in the darkside of the Force.
