Title: Round 1 - Fiend in the stables

Situation: Edrahil and Nain are under attack by a large warg-like creature that comes out of the shadows, standing as if it were a man.

Situational Modifiers: None. The distance to close in combat will not be executed in the initial round, instead each character will be able to engage as they please.

Werewolf is standard health points

Physical Modifiers: Nain and Edrahil will suffer from -3 darkness penalty to all actions.

Initiative:
Werewolf - 14
Edrahil - 12
Nain - 8

The wolf creature caught Nain's gaze and became incensed. The beast rushed the craftsman with its massive, clawed hands ready to rake its target. Around the stable yard, the few people that walked the streets gave a shout in surprise and fear.



Werewolf attacks Nain TN 16 (+4 due to Size variance)
Armed Combat +9, Specialty +2, Mighty Charge +3 = +15
ATTACK 1 (Claw) Roll(2d6)+14: 3,6,+14 Total:23 SUCCESS
ATTACK 2 (Claw) Roll(2d6)+14: 3,6,+14 Total:23 SUCCESS
ATTACK 3 (Fangs) Roll(2d6)+14: 1,5,+14 Total:20 SUCCESS

Damage if not dodged/parried: All mighty charge attacks' damage doubled...

Terror - Automatic effect from the werewolf

The light that caught Dirnhael's eye was instantly recognizable - it had saved his life countless times. He knew that Edrahil was in trouble.
Grabbing Fengel's arm, Dirnhael began to sprint across the town square, all but dragging his momentarily confused friend behind him.

A commotion ahead drew the attention of the shrouded men making their way along the river to the crossing.  A bright light illuminated an out of the way area and Durgil heard cries of panic and fear.  Looking to Thermon, he broke into a run to see what the disturbance is all about.

Nain tries to parry the slashing claws and teeth of the charging creature, the pain of them slashing through his mail shirt and the ringing of it's teeth on his axe testament to his partial success.

[Narrator:] Nain needed to roll a Willpower test against Terror TN 14
Willpower +1, Hardness of Mind +2
Roll(2d6)+3: 3,2,+3 Total:8 +6 (Courage)= 14 SUCCESS
Let me know if you do not want to spend the courage...

Action 1: Parry Warg claw
Roll(2d6)+12: 2,2+12+1(parry)=17 Failed

Action 2: Parry Warg Bite
Roll(2d6)+12: 6,5+12+1(parry)=24 Success

Nain's armor absorbs 14 so he takes 26 damage moving him into Dazed no penalty (Hardy)  #:S

Init Rd 2:
Roll(2d6)+2: 5,3+2=10
