Hurriedly nocking an arrow, Luindîs aims quickly and with a wordless cry lets her shaft fly in the direction of the taller guard.

Gwaithlim grumbles of the rashness of his lesser brethren, the folly of Man, unnecessary bloodshed, and variety of other muttering the Noldo are wont to do in these times dread, impulsiveness, and recklessness without thought of the future.  He keeps himself to the trees and scrub as he advances on the house while the others keep the guards at bay.

The guard's helm rings like a bell as Luindîs' shaft glances off its side and the man stumbles, momentarily stunned by the strike.  His knot-bearded companion spares him only a glance to ensure that he is not slain before raising his shield in the direction of the young Elf and crying 'Rise!  To arms!  We are beset!"
