:ooc: is Lareal Grimbeorn? Also, do we have like a hundred men with us or is it just us?
:ooc: Looks like there are plenty of heads to hew like stalks of wheat in the field.
Stance: Forward

Grimbeorn hacks his way towards the Men in the room as quickly as possible to protect them.
:ooc: If this keeps up, it'll be like a Sam Raimi movie.
:ooc: Hathcyn's advantage dice should also be the ones 3/3/ He rolled the extraordinary success in the last thread.
I do not know the layout of the room, but I will just pick a threat... Grey-skin
I will stay in :-X-: stance and gain my Skirmisher (+3 parry) and Shadow Bane (+1d on attacks) virtues. Also, Nimronyn is an Orc-bane weapon and so the edge is reduces by the amount of my Valour 4. This will be a two-handed attack...
TN 9 longsword 4d, shadow bane 1d

:ooc: That wasn't tampered with - Matt, just posted as I was typing.
That is a successful <-{ attack for 11 :<3: loss.
:ooc: Cripes, that's embarrassing! I've fixed the opening post now. This is what I get for trying to squeeze a new thread in with five minutes between work things.
Both of Grimbeorn's targets, and Grey-skin for Esgalwen, need to make Protection tests. Well, I say 'need to' - they've all taken enough damage to have been one-shotted, but for the
look of the thing...
Red-eyes (TN 18)

:ooc: Yeah, I didn't think so. Would you two like to tell me how you take down your targets in a matter of seconds?
Also, Matt, is that the first time a sweeping blow has worked in the game so far?
Esgalwen heard the main doors of the house open with a war shout and the sudden break in the cruel voices within, replaced instead with sharp calls of anger. She pushed open the secondary door to Maracar's hall and gracefully moved up behind a grey-skinned goblin, as it drew forth a cruel, black-iron knife. Even as her own sword came up, Grimbeorn let loose a terrifying growl with Bear Claw starting its sweep. Heads lopped off and into the air and then the grey-skinned goblin looked down to see as Nimronyn pierced through his chest. The Dúnadan pulled back her blade and hefted it for another attack - her eyes filled with fury.
Hathcyn was used to Grimbeorn's style and the two had often fought side by side. Grimbeorn was the point of a two person spear. His great axe in the fore while Hathcyn came behind him, his long spear and position keeping any foe from swarming his Lord.

:ooc: (-D fantastic showing Hathcyn, really seeing the improvement in your foot work there.
:ooc: It's still a hit, though, so the Bent-nosed goblin loses nine Endurance.
:ooc: No bad guy actions this round?
:ooc: Nope - you kept making successful Stealth rolls, so you surprised 'em. I said as much in the opening post.

:ooc: Ya, I believe that is true. *sigh*
