As the great beast swung at Grimbeorn, it over committed and left his flank open to attack. Rorin stepped in with a great sideways swing to punish the attack on his friend.

Yay! I was hoping I wouldn't botch the roll after describing the hit beforehand.
Bandy drew forth another arrow from the quiver at his side. The fletching came quickly and easily to his cheek, still dry the feather lightly kissed his cheek and then the shaft was away and towards the remaining troll. "SHIRE!"

Abandoning his axe for the time being, Arbogast runs to where his spear juts from the earth. Skidding and sliding in the churned mud, he races back to the battle.
Grimbeorn bellows a roar and swings his axe back with great force.

The combat raged like the weather around them.
Rorin bellowed and slammed his war hammer into the beast and the Dwarf smiled as he saw the armor hide open and blood seep out, turning the rain water black. Even the hobbit was pleased again as his luck, for his arrow struck true making the troll dodge, but the missile did not pierce.
The Dunadan woman raised her sword overhead and swung, but the troll maneuvered, already swinging his club around again to slam it into Grimbeorn. The Beorning felt as his small shield was smashed into him and the beast's great strength hammered him back. Air left his lungs as he staggered.
:ooc: Grimbeorn is hit with a Great Success which causes him 12 Endurance loss, and he must make a TN 14 Protection roll to avoid being wounded.
