The sun rose over the edge of the horizon and shone brightly into the canopy of the Aegis. Kara and Ardana had to squint from the sudden glare, but then the photosensitive screen darkened and eased their view. The ship was fast approaching the designated location and the mech/pilot needed to know what her captain wanted done. She hit the transmit, "Caden... on the approach. We have a problem, though. You guys are not far from that processing plant and there is some scary looking anti-air weapons lining the mountainside. I am not sure the range. What am I doing? You still want me to close?"
The light from the new day was bright, but was hampered by the jungles canopy and so the area around the watchtower went from pitch of night to a gray-green dawn. The Dug mercenaries on the rampart watched as one of their number was hit and knocked off the wall. They also could see that their leader had been overtaken on top of the tower. Finally, a human soldier ran from the tower base which told them that the Gran soldiers within had also been eliminated. The whole area had been compromised and now it was a matter of life by fleeing, or death by staying. The mercenaries took little time in their decision. The trio jumped from the rampart and disappeared into the jungle foliage.
Logar watched as the three figures disappeared from the wall. Caden walked from the tower entrance to stand beside the soldier. The wall was empty and quiet, but the duo wondered at what was beyond.
On the tower, Fett's helmet stared blankly at BIT, "You doing this or am I?"
"Fett?" Brim asked cautiously. "Rather than kill him, you mind if I take him down to Kaida and the Captain? I suspect the may like to ask him a few questions."
:ooc: If Fett agrees, Brim will bring him down to Caden and Kaida, picking up his makeshift knapsack along the way.
Regarding the weapons/powerpacks found, Brim would like to keep one carbine and one extra power pack with him. The rest he will distribute to the group.
Kaida watched the Dugs flee the rampart. She was relieved but her senses were on high alert. She heard Kara's report on the team's comm. The enemy would likely pull back and set up ambush. They had to move quickly while they still could.
"Kara, those anti air will probably chew up the Aegis if you get too close. Can you transmit the image of the missles to Sam? Maybe he can search his database and figure out their range. Also, how far away is the processing plant from where we are and can you see any other structures or enemy activity that might pose a threat before we get there?"
She also glanced at the brightening horizon and spoke again into the team's comm. "We're going to have to move quickly before full light and before they can come up with a coordinated defense. Also, let's get that gun off the roof. We can maybe carry it on one of the bikes for now for Kara to pick up later. That kind of hardware isn't easy to come by."

"Caden... on the approach. We have a problem, though. You guys are not far from that processing plant and there is some scary looking anti-air weapons lining the mountainside. I am not sure the range. What am I doing? You still want me to close?"
"Negative," Caden replied. "The resistance we expected didn't quite materialize... fortunately."
He looked as the rest of them dusted themselves off and prepared for what might come next, happy that all of them were in one piece.
"Whatever you do, stay out of range. If you have imagery you could transmit on what you've seen thus far, that's great - but
do not put the ship at any risk of fire.
"We're gonna need it."
Kicking the Dug's gun out of reach, "Slaughtering the helpless is not in my training," the merc replies, stepping between the wounded Dug and the armored man, but doesn't raise his weapon towards him. "Take him," he says to Caden. "If your mission here is the plant, then we have a similar goal."
It was a moment for Boba Fett to finally lower his weapon. The whole time, BIT stared at the still smoking barrel aimed right at his chest. Finally the bounty hunter dropped his aim and said, "Then you'll fit in just fine with these people." His head turned to observe Brim, "Do what you want with him, Rodian. Problem is, while you people kurf around with taking prisoners and questioning them, the valley has time to fortify. So good luck with that... and trying to get any information from him... none of you speak his language."
With that, Fett grabbed the balcony rail and swung off of it, falling the distance only to ignite his jetpack in time to alight on the ground. The sound startled both Caden and Logar who quickly turned. Fett acknowledged them both, "Seems your people up there, along with some new guy, want to take and interrogate prisoners. You all have fun with that." Fett looked directly at Logar, "Unless you want to come with me and get this done? You're definitely one of the few who has what it takes." He then looked to Caden, "And good call on bringing in your ship! That will probably make for an even more aware compound!"
The bounty hunter passed them both by, not waiting on any response. He brought up his rifle to check the ammo count and proceeded to walk to the rampart and its wooden door.
:ooc:So... wow... good times... (I think it might be Fett's time of the month ) ;D
Brim brought the Dug commander down to Caden, picking up his makeshift bundle along the way. When he got to the captain, he said, "Not sure how much use this Dug's going to be, but here he is. If you like, I'll find a place for him to stay out of trouble." The rodian then placed his makeshift sack on the ground. "I scooped up some rifles too. Figured it might not hurt to stock up if we're going to keep running into resistant like this."
Dropping his voice for just the captain to hear, he added as he watched Fett storm off, "That guy's cold fury, Caden. He'd have shot the Dug dead if the stranger hadn't stepped in. I don't know why Fett's really here, but I doubt it syncs up perfectly with our goals. And, if he has his way, there's going to be a long body trail in his wake... maybe our own. Careful, Captain."

Caden nodded to Brim, thankful for the information. He knew what Fett was capable of, but he had had it. He stepped toward the retreating Mandalorian - with his pistol holstered; he wasn't stupid enough to threaten the ridiculously-dangerous bounty hunter - and gave him a piece of his mind.
"Hold on a damned minute! First - you're not thick enough to believe they're unaware of us already. And second - I wouldn't have had to call in my ship if you'd stop working solo! Fill us in, instead of wandering off all the damn time, and this'd work a lot better! You wanna do this yourself? Be my guest - but if you want our help, you're going to have to meet us in the middle!"
Fett made some sense - though Caden didn't possess any bloodlust like Logar, he also didn't see any advantage of taking prisoners, especially ones he couldn't speak with anyway.
But he wasn't about to concede the point at the moment.
"Five minutes," she said into the comm, still scanning the ramparts. "Then we move out. Bring the gun down if you can and whatever we can quickly scrounge up."
:ooc: After another minute if everything seems all clear, she'll leave her cover and join Caden and the others do a greet and meet with BIT and help organize the next phase of the assault. Anyone need first aid?
Logar took Fetts words with a grain of salt. Biting his lip. Their was no reaching some people. Yes Logar had a need to be fullfilled. The action. The chaos. After so many years of bloodshed it became an old hat nearly impossible to take off. But he had taken it off. And that first instinct to not leave behind potential enemies was a ghost of a past he wanted to be done with forever. Kaida and her team, My team now he thought, were trying to leave the universe a better place to live. There was not much coin in it. But it was better life than he had ever had. He trusted he didnt have to watch his back for a knife from these people. He wanted them to trust him as well. fett would walk away from this job alone. He would always be alone. Logar'Dan needed more than that. He let the bounty hunter go without a word. He turned to Kaida on her approach and gave her a full report squad style of the watchtower action. Also adding his own opinion of Bit. Logar thought he could be trusted. Was capable enough to effect his own escape while his captors were distracted. And could be an asset to the team.
Kaida nodded at Logar's report as she joined the group. She removed her helmet and shook out her hair and holding it in the crook of one arm, extended a hand of greeting to BIT. She would keep her own counsel on who could be trusted, but if he was blasting at the enemy along side them, he couldn't be all that bad.
"I'm Kaida." No reason to give him more than that for now. "Glad to find a gun that isn't pointing at ar ts these parts," she smiled then grimaced at the dilapidated tower. "Been a guest here long?"
<following his reply>
"We would welcome your assistance, friend. And Caden might even offer you ride off this rock if you ask nicely." She flashed a grin at the captain's grimace then turned away.
She turned to their captive and her grin faded. She studied him a moment and then ran one finger nail around the Dug's neck and eyed Logar's vibroknife--she hoped her feral grin looked authentic enough. She could appear quite grouchy when she wanted to.
"Alright, pal. Here's how it's going to work. Tell us what defenses they have guarding the production facility and we'll let you out of here with all your limbs attached!"
She was of course bluffing but no reason for him to know that.

He doesn't take the hand offered as before, he just looks at it a moment. Returning her gaze, he came to bearing and as if by rote, "I am 5879... uh," stuttering and caught himself, "... BIT. I've been here longer than I care to admit or remember."
"As I mentioned to your comrade there, if you're here for the plant, I'm in; we have the same goal. After that, we can discuss further terms. My intel on this area is a little rusty, need to get the lay of the land again. I'll be back shortly," he said adjusting his jet pack. "What's your frequency?"
Quote from: Posterboy on Jan 19, 2012, 01:07 AM:ooc: So... wow... good times... (I think it might be Fett's time of the month ) ;D
:ooc: LOL! Yea, he seems to be a bit on the moody side. I read the entire Fett Omnibus and there is not a story in there that depicts him as too talkative, and/or friendly... so, I am trying to work that into the story. Also, unbeknownst to you guys but he is still a little young and so he may be overcompensating to come across menacing.
Caden felt an icy ball form in his belly when Fett stopped. The helmet turned and regarded the Bestinian coldly, then he spoke, "Well someone has finally decided to step up." Caden wasn't sure if Fett was mocking him or if there was a newfound respect. The bounty hunter continued, "All right... I will work with you all, as long as we keep moving - the longer you are on any job the more you lose in time and money."
The Bestinian merchant wondered at what battle he just won, or if Boba Fett was fooling him. Caden watched as Fett moved over to the hill and set down his blaster. He then unhitched his jetpack from his back and Logar could see two sleeves that were under the pack on the back plate of his Mandalorian armor. The bounty hunter drew a forearm length rocket out of the sleeve and then slid it into the launcher atop his jetpack. Fett turned it and locked it into place and immediately saw the weapon active on his HUD within his helmet.
The team's attention left the bounty hunter and turned to the Dug that sat awkwardly in the middle of the tower compound. Introductions were made between the others and BIT, and then Kaida made her threat. It was evident that there was understanding in the Dug's eyes to her threat, but the language barrier made her words nothing more than jumbled sounds.
A few feet away, a chuckle came from Fett.
Farok channeled the force and moved the E-web blaster off of the top of the tower and lowered it down to the ground outside of the tower.
Climbing back down the tower was harder than going up but the one-armed man didn't complain. He paced by the sleeping Gran that would be down until he awoke him or someone else did, if the nexu got him than it wasn't his problem, leaving him alive wasnt really high on Farok's list of things to do.
Stepping outside he again saw the prisoner in another standoff with a party member. Sighing, he took the baton from his belt and walked up behind the prisoner. In a quick movement of his arm the baton came up and then down on the back of the creatures head. As he crumpled to the ground he said, "The defenders are on the run, we need to keep moving Princess."
He stepped over the fallen enemy, "anyone who is good with mechanics can get that gun up and running in about 20 minutes or so if you think we need it. Speed is our best security and we need to get moving."

Sam agreed with Fett that they should keep moving. The time it would take to get information out of this Dug could be discovered on their own if they pressed on. He reloaded his rifle and awaited the consensus.
Getting the info he wanted, he said "I'll contact you with any intel I discover. I'm heading to higher ground." With that he activated the sound sponge and lifted off with his jetpack, rifle in hand now, now mostly silent. He keeps low to the tree line or the ground to avoid being spied, vigilant in for any targets or obstacles that might hinder completing the mission.

Farouk watched the new comer take off. "jawas have more organization than this lot. Your highness where to next?"
:ooc: LOL! Nice posts everyone! ;D
Fett laughed louder, the helmet giving it a mechanical element. He stood up, "Now that we have that all figured out, we ready to move on?"
BIT took to the air and easily overtook the rampart wall. Beyond the earthen embankment the valley was cleared out of tall trees save one that sat far off where it hitched right. The lone tree grew up from what appeared to be the start of a lake of water. The terrain below him was a variety of long natural trenches and embankments filled with whispy vapors and fog. BIT could see the three remaining Dugs still working their way down the maze of trenches. The merc became concerned as the air left him little in the way of cover.
Suddenly the crack of a sniper rifles echoed down the valley corridor coming from beyond the rampart wall.

Farok heard the distinctive crack of the blaster fire.
"Our rampart friends have found their spine again. Brim, Logar lets get moving and see what's beyond this rampart."
Farok ignited his lightsaber once again and began to jog towards the wooden door in the rampart.
Inside the tower, Kaida sighed. "No body speaks its language? I hate to do this but..." she shook her head and then deftly clocked the Dug over the head with the butt of her rifle, knocking it out. "Sleep tight."
She stuffed him into a locker and turned the combo. It should keep him out of trouble until someone found him.
Kaida's head came up when she heard the crack of the sniper rifle. "Everyone move to the rampart and take down the shooter," she pulled on her helmet again. "Logar get me a bike then help me secure this gun."
ooc: she'll work on getting the gun loaded on the bike. Can the gun still be shot if disconnected from its base on the tower? Was it getting ammo/power from the tower itself?
BIT continued on looking for an easy ingress to the plant, figuring if they really needed his help, theyd call.
:ooc: Sorry, forgot to attach the map!
:ooc: Hey Matt, just so you know, there is a ways to go before you guys get to the production facility. The valley extends around this corner, there is a cave, a chasm, another cave, and another chasm. :]
Still, it is the last leg.
Jingo, as for your post, Farok had used a stun baton on the Dug already, so I am going to just go with the idea of you securing him. I also have changed up some of your dialogue.
Shawn and Don, you guys can reply to Kaida as you please as to whether the gun is something to worry about.
Farok and Brim - I need damage rolls.
The two blaster shots hit near to where Fett sat, but the bounty hunter moved with preternatural speed rolling in a fashion - even with the jetpack - and scooping up his blaster rifle. The Mandalorian ended up on one knee, blaster aimed in the direction of the shots, poised and deadly.
Farok ran to the door, his two companions moving behind him. Once there, the former jedi found that again the wooden doors were little match for his lightsaber.
Kaida motioned to Caden to help her, the two still hovering over the unmoving Dug. Bending down they grabbed the creature and dragged him back into the tower and secured him within the locker. Once done, they returned outside to find their friends busy with getting through the door of the rampart. Kaida tapped Caden once more then signaled to Sam - the droid stood still upon the hillock, looking for the new sniper nest. "Let' get a bike and then help me secure this gun."
On the opposite side of the rampart, BIT flew low to avoid fire.
In the Aegis, Kara and Ardana returned down the length of the valley. She brought the ship over the clearing where they had landed before and then hovered the ship into a landing. "Well, that was kind of pointless," said Kara to the Twi'lek.

Farok jogged toward the rampart door while making the eerie lightsaber swinging noise. It was such a simple concept but it definitely gave the idea that there was an unstoppable force and it was on the move. Perhaps the one-armed failed Jedi wasnt totally loony after all. Subtle, but effective.
Coming up to the door he swung his lightsaber down into the wood then stepped aside for Brim to follow up.
:ooc: ok, amend to this
BIT heads off in a direction that would give me a vantage point to take out the snipers in the blind.
When Farok called after Brim to follow him, the Rodian hesitated for a moment. There had been a request to fix up the E-Web as well, and Brim knew a thing or two when it came to jury-rigging things. Still, getting through the door seemed the more pressing priority.
Slinging his carbine over his shoulder, Brim brought out his lightsaber and followed after the one-armed man.

:ooc: FYI Farok has a backpack from the first encounter he has been throwing weapons and power packs into.
:ooc:There we go... so if there are any carbines or power packs leftover, Brim or Farok will shove them into Farok's backpack prior to hitting the door? Is that okay?
:ooc: Goes to retrieve a speeder bike for Kaida and helps to load the gun
:ooc: First of all sorry for the delay. I have been dealing with some stuff at work that has had me major distracted. Now, on to the game...
The lightsabers cut easily into the wood and the framing that had been installed in the earthen rampart. The basic hinges were no match and both doors fell in to reveal the valley beyond. The two jedi could see that the valley floor graded down and entered the series of natural trenches formed countless years past by whatever river had forged them.
The bright glow of BIT's jetpack was visible, too, as he weaved for cover and firing position.
Behind them, Logar answered Kaida's call and helped her draw up one of the speeder bikes so that the broken E-Web cannon could be loaded upon it. The noblewomand and soldier knew they would need a length of synthrope and time to get the job done.
Having drawn the fire, Fett was now in motion too, dashing for the door in the rampart. He left behind Caden who had just settled on a weapon and power packs. The Bestinian looked around him and saw Sam. The droid was messing with something on its torso. Caden could see blaster scoring on the new plate armor and he wondered about Sam's condition.
:ooc: Fett MOVES x2.
Kaida and Logar will need the equivalent of 5 combat rounds to lift and secure the broken blaster.
BIT can see where the blaster fire came from, Matt. You tell me what he is looking for in firing positions - there are no trees (save the one the sniper blind is in) and the ground is riddled with ruts and trenches. If he crests the valley wall, which are steep, the jungle canopy above will hinder his view back down in.
The rest, tell me what you want to do.
:ooc: so much for high ground... he'll dive for a deep trench with the best angle on the blind and set up shop.
:ooc: I've noticed that Sam's been taking a beating, too. Can Caden use his Mechanics skill to attempt some repair - one that might get him some HP back? How long would that take?
:ooc: Kaida will continue loading the speeder with the gun unless directly threatened. In which case she'll stop, find cover and return fire. If possible, she'll use her Inspire Haste talent on Logar to speed up the job--though I'm not sure it can be used in such a manner. I'll leave that up to you Mr. GM. :)

:ooc: No, that is all they had and now you guys have them.
Shawn, a Mechanics check DC 20 is needed to repair Sam and it takes an hour, although I would reduce the time based on Degree of Success. It also requires a tool kit.
Kaida's Inspire Haste will not have an effect on the amount of time it takes to secure the blaster cannon.
BIT swoops down and then flares up to come to rest on his feet. The merc swiftly hits the ground and commences to set up his equipment. The sniper blind is plainly visible in front of him - another circular platform that wrapped around the lone tree at the end of the valley. Shadowy shapes could be seen squatting upon it.
Sam looked down at his manipulator and saw fluid coating it.
"My blood," he thought momentarily, but then his heuristic processor corrected itself and diagnosed the wetness to be hydraulic fluid. The droid's internal diagnostic package began to evaluate the pressure loss and the amount of time he had to make repairs. The leak was slight, but could still be dangerous. Sam realized he had no desire to be left here unable to move. Again he reevaluated his thoughts... blood? desire? The time he was spending with biologicals was having a significant affect on his reasoning. But wasn't that what he had been trying to do, emulate his makers? He talked, walked and dressed like them, why shouldn't he think like them?
He tapped the fingers of his manipulator together then suddenly realized Caden stood near. The man had a questioning look, one that signified his desire to help. Sam spoke in his synthesized voice, "It is okay Caden... I will be fine."
The droid then went back into action. Standing atop the mound at his height, he had an easy shot to the blind from whence the new attack came. He hoisted his rifle and sighted through the scope.
Fett, having made it through the rampart doors, slid down the graded landscape into the weaving channels. He quickly climbed an embankment to gain a good firing position and opened up with his blaster.

BIT's shot was devastatingly clean. The Gran sniper that had been sighting down its own rifle reeled back as BIT's shot hit him in the opposite eye. The alien's head opened up on the back side and it fell like a rag doll from the platform. Moments later, Caden's blaster fire ripped into the wood and body of the remaining Gran and it too fell.
Farok and Brim could see the three remaining Dug's turn the corner of the valley and disappear into the watery distance.
Communications were made to the rest of the team and soon they all stood together within one of the culverts, the two speeder bikes alongside.
"let's get that web blaster loaded and ready. Then we can move up to the turn in the valley floor and plan our next move. It would be nice if we had a group plan, but if we want to stick to howling dervishes in the jungle counting coup then that's fine too."
BIT stood there silent, no need for his tech to make it so. "Rag-tag" is how he'd best describe this group, no military discipline, but they were his best means of jumping off this hell-hole. Now the one with the helmet and armor he kept an eye on... cold detachment and no regard for life but his own... how'd he fit into this equation? She made sure the gun was secure and then climbed into the driver seat? "Anyone need a ride? We may need to hit the enemy hard and fast. We're the calvary." She nodded to the bikes.

:ooc: Just to be clear on size, no one will be able to ride the speederbike that has the E-Web strapped to it. The barrel, power system and the tripod will take up the entire length of where a driver and passenger would sit. The one speeder can tow the other, but it won't be ridden.
Also as a note, you guys have spent a bit of time on the broken E-Web... the two speederbikes each have a very affective, operational laser cannon. But that is fine, party treasure is still party treasure, and an E-Web definitely qualifies.
It was strange to see BIT take to the air via his rocketpack, but only hear the slightest whisper from the vehicle - his sound sponge absorbing most of it. But the merc was gone in a flash and skillfully used the terrain and foliage to disappear.
BIT flew the short length of the valley from where he had been and came to where it hitched right. The valley floor disappeared under a morass of green water and vegetation. Only a few of the tall tees grew in the area, including the one which had perched the two snipers who had just attacked them, but there were large masses of earth that rose from the lake making small islands. The islands were of various heights and steep walls making it impossible to climb them without somekind of aid. So the only passage down the length of the valley would be through the thick morass. From his vantage, and based upon the vegetation that grew up from the lake, BIT could assume that the water had to be thigh-deep at worst.
He found himself a place to land, high up on the cliff wall to the north and he quickly broke out his rifle and scope. His keen eye saw the terrain and how it graded back up at the far end of the valley - which also came to an end. There were a total of three substantial 'islands' that sat in the way, and atop the second on the north wall of the valley was a huge Dug head carved in the stone. In its mouth was a door. Also atop each of these islands, an E-Web blaster cannon was poised to fire down the length of the valley.
BIT could see the remaining three Dug mercenaries pushing their way down the lake towards their Gran companions who maintained the weapons.
BIT radioed back to the group on the frequency he had been given.
Back with the group, Fett suddenly broke from his silence. "There was a comm panel in that tower, wasn't there?"
Brim nodded.
The bounty hunter thought for a moment, "Maybe we can use it to place a call to the main compound... tell them we are coming to blow the production facility up. Tell them that Fett and a few smugglers from Jovan Station are on their way. You think that might cause for a message to be sent to the Bando Gora? You think with all of the names given that maybe it just might draw that bastard of a dark-jedi out? I am sure he might want a little piece of each of us."
:ooc: I have attached two pics of the valley from the lake level of what BIT can see. The pics are kind of grainy as they are captures from the video of the game. I will post a close-up overhead map tonight once I get it drawn.
Kaida considered. It was worth a shot IF they could get the dark jedi to come out on their terms into an ambush. She said as much and then asked for opinions of the others.
"BIT hold position and set a bead on the snipers. We'll be moving up hard and fast shortly." She then laid our her plan.
:ooc: What's the plan? I'm thinking once BIT starts shooting, some of us can lay down covering fire while others on the bikes zoom up and quickly blast the E-Web islands from the flanks.
BIT did as he was instructed. He sidled in his comfort zone: stock to shoulder, hand to grip, and finger poised on the trigger. He calmed himself, measuring his heartbeat and waited for the call. Though he kept a bead on the rearmost sniper, he remained aware of the E-web postitions as they would likely be his next targets.
:ooc: Are the E-webs able to maneuver/reposition easily or are they in a fixed firing position?
:ooc: can the speeders maneuver over water?
:ooc: also can I make a UtF check to see if the dark Jedi is even on the planet?
Fett's plan was audacious; but the problem seemed to be that he, Logar and this new fellow were the only actual soldiers attacking.
It seemed a bit bold to call them out.
That said, they had made enough of a ruckus outside already that their presence was no secret.
He had no desire to tempt fate against this "dark Jedi" for a third time... even though that's what they were here for.
He shrugged his shoulders at Kaida, then turned to Sam. "You may be able to survive in pieces, buddy, but not me. Stay sharp."
Quote from: you guys:ooc:
1) What's the plan?
2) Are the E-webs able to maneuver/reposition easily or are they in a fixed firing position?
3) Can the speeders maneuver over water? Can I make a UtF check to see if the dark Jedi is even on the planet?
:ooc: 1) Do you guys want a OOC discussion thread to tlk about your approach? Is Fett's idea something you guys want to do?
2) The E-webs can rotate in a 360* arc around their tripods (the power source feeds straight up through the tripod to the base of the gun). They could be moved, but it would have to be a break and set. They can be aimed up to allow a firing angle up two tiers. They can be aimed down to allow firing to tier 1.
3) The speeders can easily fly over water. Yes, you can make a UtF check DC 15 to determine if there are any Force-users around out to a range of 100 km.
The attached map shows what BIT sees. The outlines show the lake and all firm terrain. A number indicates a tier level from the ground which is 1. A tier level is 6 feet and can be used for cover. Climbing a tier will need a Climb roll DC 10 + 2 for each tier level being climbed, or it can be easily handled with a jetpack or Jedi Surge ability. The two level 5 tiers have access to them by either the step tiers on the first, or a graded slope up on the second. Any questions, ask. I will wait until tomorrow to see what you guys give me on this post, but due to my tardiness I don't want to make you wait much longer.
Since Kaida has taken up a De Facto leader role, if you all just want to defer to her orders, let Jingo know on this post.
:ooc: BIT is waiting for the go-ahead.
:ooc: Since I'm not hearing anything from anyone else... here goes. Feel free to outvote me if you guys want a diff action. ;)
Kaida knew that she was taking too long making her decision. They had to move now. Act now. She nodded to Fett. "Make the call." Then she told BIT. "Stand by..."
As soon as Fett finished making the call, she gave the signal for BIT to shoot. "Fire."
Then they attacked.

If she can user her tactics skill to aid us again, she will. Here's the roll:

. She'll use born leader first off to give bonus to all in LOS then will help pilot a bike to get to an advantageous spot where she's not at a negative to shoot but has cover. She'll then let whoever is riding beind her (Logar maybe?) fly the bike and use the big guns since he prob has better gunner skills. She'll use stealth as much as possible. I'm telling you all this because I'll be on vacation until Feb 22 or 23nd. I may have limited access but prob won't be checking posts much. Feel free to play my char.
BIT times the shot right, between the heartbeats, and nails the rearmost Gran.

Fett nodded at the noblewoman who had once been his mark. "On my way," was all he said before he strode away back towards the tower. Once inside, he climbed the central ladder to the second story and looked at the large comm system. It was an old system, corroded from the moisture of the jungle, but still it was lit with life. The bounty hunter looked at the current frequency and saw it was on a close range band - probably for the Dug commander to have communicated with his troops. His helmet broad band antenna scanned the airwaves to locate the strongest channel that was broadcasting, it would have to be Pugwis' compound.
With the frequency located, Fett dialed it in on the old communication panel and picked up the hand held microphone. How quaint, he thought. He hit the comm button, "This is the insertion team that is currently making a raid on your Death Stick production facility. Don't worry about the watchtower, your soldiers there have been dispatched. Tell Pugwis that we will be there soon to blow his facility off the face of this planet. Tell that wretch of a Dug that he may want to let his friends know, too. Let them know that there are a few here among us that made trouble on Jovan Station... and tell them that Fett is here, too!"
Boba Fett yanked the microphone from the comm panel and then raised his blaster. He blew a hole into the panel destroying it. He walked fom the chamber and made his way back to the others.
On the Aegis, Kara and Aradana heard the ship's communictor crackle to life and Fett's voice fill the cockpit. The mech had had the ship's comms tracking and snooping for any broadcasts. When Fett finished talking, they both looked at each other wondering what that was all about and what might be coming down on them all.
It took another five minutes from the time Fett stopped talking and left the tower for his message to be received, translated, and brought to the palace throne room. Pugwis was in the midst of his morning food and beverage, along with meeting an embassy from another Dug city. The King allowed the interruption and quickly left his throne room to take up private conference with his steward.
The issue of the attack was quickly verified and Pugwis cringed at the thought that someone was daring to invade his home. The name of Fett rang notoriously through the hall. He would not allow himself, or his business, to be harmed. He issued orders for more troops to be sent to the Gap... and then he made a private communication.
BIT had the pleasure of seeing his target knocked off his feet by the attack. He wasn't sure if it was a killing blow, but the Gran would be out of commission.
:ooc: More to come in a bit... going on Xbox for now.
:ooc: I will update more story and prep for combat rounds in the morning.
"That's it, then," Caden whispered. He gripped his blaster a bit tighter and prepared to move.
