:ooc: Caden hadn't worked his way inside the tower yet? When he does, he'll use the door for cover and see if can line up a decent shot. Since BIT and Fett are near the top of the tower anyway, Caden will stay downstairs for another round.

Sam dropped prone on the slope of the small hill and opened up on the same pair of Dugs again. He opened his satchel to pull out a spare clip, knowing his next burst would expend the rest of the one loaded.

Sam's Actions
Swift: Fall prone
Standard: Autofire Ranged Attack D1/D2

:00: Slugthrower +5 (Autofire, PB range), +2 Kaida's bonus
Slugthrower +7, area attack:  1d20+7 : 8 + 7, total 15

Dmg, if hit, 2d8+5:  2d8+5 : 2, 5 + 5, total 12

:ooc: BIT has posted and is waiting, but this is Fett's post and falls before BIT...

Fett stood with weapon raised at the Dug mercenary commander and he heard BIT's warning. The bounty hunter's cold voice came through his helmet, "He only has one choice... we don't need prisoners."

A flick of his finger switched his weapon to single shot and he fired. So skilled was Boba Fett with his weapon that the blaster fired two rounds almost instantly.

Fett fires on Trevulo
SWIFT - switch from Auto to Single
STANDARD - fires blaster
:00: DC 17 (made him flat-footed since he is a bit helpless) Ranged blaster carbine +9 (4d8+6) with Point blank shot and Rapid shot
Rolled 1d20+9 : 6 + 9, total 15

damage if successful 4d8+6 : 8, 5, 3, 7 + 6, total 29

:ooc: Okay... now a couple things:

Shawn, I have Caden kinda in the doorway of the tower, using it for cover but also leaning out keeping an eye. Of course, this draws fire on the doorway. The Dugs are using Autofire so all they need is a die result of 10 to do 1/2 damage to a 2x2 square, which will include the first inner squares of th tower. Since you have Evasion, it is all irrelevant.

Fett hits for 29 damage, current 35/44

Kaida misses

Sam hits for 1/2 damage but failed to roll higher than DC 17 for full. D1/D2 take 6 damage, current 20/32 each

Need to wait for Logar, Caden, Farok and Brim before I roll the Dugs on the rampart.

Here is what Trevulo does...

Searing pain flared through the Dug's body as the blaster bolts hit. Trevulo fought to keep his mind focused, but the grey morning around him blurred out of focus. He grabbed the rail of the tower balcony to keep from falling and hung on it breathing hard. His blaster clattered out of his hand and in broken common speech he said, "Sor-under!"

BIT briefly looks over at the bounty hunter, "So you're here just for the blood, hmm?"  He turns back to the Dug, blaster still trained on the Dug.  "Call off the rest, no more need die."

Hearing Caden's reminder of the dangers still outside, Brim grabbed one of the carbines with a power pack, leaving the others on the bed. The rifle almost felt unfamiliar in his hands, heavy and clunky compared to the elegance of his lightsaber. How long had it been since he fired one? he wondered to himself as he made his way up the ladder to the second level.

:ooc: Brim's grabbing a carbine and moving up to the second level to deal with the Dug commander or shoot at the Dugs on the rampart. He'll leave the make shift knapsack with the rest of the weapons for now.

Farok left the sleeping Gran where he fell and made his way to the top of the tower. Farok saw the stand off that was underway, ignored it, and examined the web blaster to see if it could be used to fire on the ramparts.

Again the cold mechanical voice from Fett's helmet replied to BIT, "Not even that. I don't know who you are, but we do not have time for this."

Brim crested the ladder onto the second tier to see BIT holding his weapon close to the Dug commander's head, along with Fett who stood but a pace away.

Farok looked over the E-Web blaster and could see that the primary stock and barrel of the weapon had been unseated from its tripod and hung at an odd angle. The power cables still were connected but the blaster cannon would not swivel or move without some repairs.

From the tower doorway below, Caden raises his heavy blaster pistol and returns fire at the rampart.

Caden fires on D2
STANDARD - fire blaster
:00: DC 17 Ranged heavy blaster pistol +8 (3d8+4) with Point blank shot, Darkness -5
Rolled 1d20+3 : 15 + 3, total 18

damage if successful 3d8+4 : 7, 5, 4 + 4, total 20

:ooc: Doug, can the cannon still fire? And would it be possible to UtF move object and point it at the dugs. I have the power move object so I think it let's me move some pretty heavy stuff and not just small objects.

:ooc: Hey Tom, the E-Web will require a Mechanics test DC 15, taking 15 minutes, to repair it to working order. Moving the cannon would not take much to do, but it still needs work. The thing isn't huge - it is just to powerful and unwieldy to use without  tripod. I attached a pic so you can get an idea.

:ooc: Might be useful to take it and repair it--I bet we could put it to some good use later. Maybe we should have Kara come and pick it up... Or one of us carry it on a speeder.
