Grimbeorn groans inwardly at the turn of events. He was prepared for something like this but had hoped that a disgrace like this wouldn't happen. There is no honor to be gained by the drunken sod, just vanity. Unsure of what these two will do, he continues to be wary of both.

:ooc: Can I get a little more information on what Grimbeorn's intention is here? Is he continuing the duel and ignoring Viglar except to defend himself (in which case, he hasn't quite managed to score another shield-break), or is he turning on Viglar before he can come in with another attack (in which case, he'll hit, and hard)?
:ooc: He's not sure what's going on. He will continue with the duel if Thunar is but against Viglar he will just protect himself. If others also join in, well then it's on. A lot depends on what Viglund does or doesn't do.
:ooc: so Paul, what is Thunnars action. Did he pause when Vilgar entered? My read is that he stopped and backed away somewhat shocked and dismayed the fight had been dishonored and that the Cow thief was no pressing an attack against Grimbeorn.
Shoving Viglar aside with his shield, Grimbeorn presses his attack on Thunar. It soon becomes clear, though, that the Viglunding is fighting only to defend himself. He takes one blow from Bear Claw and then another, turning them away with sword and shield, but attempts not a single one in return. Watching from the sidelines, Hathcyn fancies he sees a look of dismay flash across the man's face before he turns away from the firelight.
Unwilling to be ignored, Viglar advances with wild, undisciplined swings of his mace, braying insults like an angry mule.
:ooc: Viglar presses his attack...
