Nimronyn cleaves down into the undead's left shoulder and buries itself deep. The wraith goes to one knee and a long, low wail emanates from its open mouth. Esgalwen was not sure if the cry was in response to pain, or if it were a shout of pleasure to its release from undeath.

Though in a grave state, the creature gripped her sword's blade and shoved upward to remove the enchanted blade from its body. It then swung its spear wide and viciously in a two-handed attack.

:ooc: I will roll its attack after all the heroes have gone.

The elf stepped forward, the weariness of the travel behind him out swept the fell blade of the lost lands.

Arbogast is outclassed.  Hale and strong, he may have been able to best one of these fell things.  Weary of body and facing two, it is all he can do to let his shield take the worst of the incoming blows.  His heart is lifted, though, as he sees the light pour from the elven lamp, and Esgalwen laying about left and right with her ancestral blade.  In like wise does the Warden's Axe rise and fall once again.

Grimbeorn sought out no pleas for mercy, just the swift conclusion to this encounter.  The great shield of the Elves was left aside so he could bring his full might to bear on this stroke.

"Noooo!" shrieks the crone in agony, as bear claw rends flesh open. "Destroy them all and make them walk the undead paths by your sides. Come! Aid your companions, let not these interlopers leave this place."

The face of the man - or woman - turns feral and guttural words belch forth. "PARALYUKIUK!"

Following their master's lead, the undead draw from the shadows and terror suddenly fills the courtyard.
