Still wary of his opponent, Grimbeorn feels out the other's tactics, striking when he sees an opening.
:ooc: Stance, action Defensive still, 1 die to Parry.

:ooc: Still called shot, not looking to injure.
Grimbeorn's next attack is strong, but Thunar's shield is well-wrought and neither Man-forged steel nor the Elven enchantments, woven in haste in a single night, are strong enough to break it. As Bear Claw's head goes glancing off, the Viglunding aims another blow at the axe handle.
:ooc: Rolling for Thunar:

Rolled 4d6 : 3, 3, 3, 5, total 14
Grimbeorn, anticipating such an attack, is able to move away at a critical moment. The audience gasps as Thunar stumbles, but quickly rights himself.
In the crowd, Hathcyn eases his way toward Rorin. The Dwarf keeps his eyes on the duel, giving no indication of whether he is aware of the young Beorning's approach.
:ooc: Tom, Hathcyn is getting close to Rorin but will need to make a Stealth roll (standard TN - the guards are good at their job, but quite distracted) to get within arm's reach of him.
