Cho sees that both of the men in front of his target's home are reeling from the fire of he and his companions' weapons. It was the droid that was crossing the road that got the thug's attention. He didn't know where it had come from, but it had taken out one of his men and so it needed to be destroyed.

Cho leveled his carbine at Sam and fired.

It was a strange moment for Cahill: First he saw his shot dropping one of their attackers. He didn't like hurting people, let alone killing them, but to defend others Kex was willing to use force when necessary. In the same instant he saw the thug he had shot dropping, he himself felt a red hot pain stabbing him. He hadn't seen a shot coming his way and was unpleasantly surprised by the extreme hit. Pain flodded over him, his vision grew blurry and darker. The only thing keeping him standing was the close wall. It seemed like he was goining to lose conscience, but then the view became clear once more.

Somehow the pain had cleared his mind of all non-essential thoughts. He grasped the new combat situation, with Sam crossing the street and an unknwon female taking part in the fight on their side, using a weapon obviously set on stun. The leader of the gang snapped a shot at the moving droid. Kex heard himself shouting a warning to his friend and raised his own blaster again, this time trying to hit the enemy that had just fired upon Sam.

OOC (previous round):
Okay first to resolve my previous shot at the dead person (redirect it)
Fire at "C"  The boss leader

Attack roll: 4+18(d20)+1 (point blank shot) -5 cover -2 darkness = 16 vs Ref Defense

If hits: Stun Damage 3d6+3 = 6+5+2+3= 16 stun damage MISSED with 16

IC (for this round):

Kara moved forward till she was against the speeder and aimed the blaster again and pulled the trigger at the one that seemed to be the leader of the group.  She felt the weapon shudder as it released another wave of blue energy.

OOC:

Attack roll= 4+2(d20)+1 (PBS) = 7 vs Ref, yeah I just stunned a wall or something...

[OOC:] Hey Don, I saw you were on here a bit ago. You don't have to wait until everyone has done their actions in initiative order before you post what you want to do. You can give me your actions, and I will put them in sequence. If something happens where you may want to change your moves, I will allow it.

Caden heard Kex yelp, and wanted to help him, but quickly reasoned that the best way to help him was to keep them all from getting shot at.
He leveled his blaster at the man closest to him, who had now turned toward Sam, aimed and fired.

OOC: If Kara successfully stunned "C" in Round 1 (fingers crossed), Caden will fire at "P" instead.

SWIFT ACTION: Aim.
MOVE ACTION: Aim.
STANDARD ACTION: Fire blaster at nearest attacker ("C").
Caden's Ranged Weapon Bonus +4, Point-Blank Shot Feat +1 (forgot this last time), Heavy Blaster Attack Bonus +2, Point-blank Range +0, Darkness -2, Target in Cover -5 (ignored with Aim) = +5

Roll(1d20)+5:7,+5 Total:12
Damage if successful: Roll(3d6)+0:4,3,4,+0 Total:11

Sam's actions for round 3
Sam coolly calculates distances and appropriate angles and processes it all into his action. The numbers are starting to even out, but his human friends are hurt and this needs to end fast before more trouble comes. He notes the passerby are scattering and the human woman he was initially tracking is at least firing in the right direction.

Swift - initiate internal video recorder to capture images of the combatants and their vehicle.
Move (pt1) - Sam will split his movement per Running attack feat to move south three squares (clear line of sight to leader and/or Brute P?)
Standard - Sam will fire on closest enemy
Blaster Pistol +6, -2 darkness, (no cover/concealment?)

Roll d20 +4 = 13+4 = 17
Dmg (if hit) = 3d6+1 = 4,6,1 +1 = 12

Move (pt2) - Sam moves south an additional square onto the sidewalk to stand beside Caden's starting position and to duck behind the partial cover
Free action - Sam says to Caden, "I guess it wasn't assassins springing through the door we had to worry about!"

Caden missed with 12 at Cho (C)

Sam hits Leader for 12 damage, Cho moves -1 on the condition track

Blaster fire continued to flare back and forth. At the moment, it was hard to discern who might be gaining the advantage.

Sam's fire caught the brute leader, Cho, in the shoulder and the man screamed in pain. At the same time, he looked down the alley and saw the young woman - his target - climbing from a window in the side of her house.
