What level are you at now in TKD?

I am at Red-decided.

If you are familiar with their belt structure, you know what that means. If not, the belts range in color from white to red and then 1st degree black belt. At red, you go through four testings:

Red recommended
Red decided
Black recommended
Pressure points

and finally

1st degree Black belt decided.

It's a blast!

Introducing Idunn the Heron, Shieldmaiden of the Woodsmen, and her hound companion, Sindjarfr.

:ooc: Welcome Idunn!

One technical note - you've put River-Blooded down as your cultural blessing when I'm fairly sure it's meant to be a Virtue.  The blessing for Woodmen is Wood(/Mountain)crafty.  You don't want to forget that when we're about to go traipsing around Mirkwood!

Actually, River-Blooded is an alternative cultural blessing for Woodsmen found in the Heart of the Wild sourcebook on pg 92. Basically Idunn's a descendant of one of the river maidens on the Dusky River/Black Tarn.

Hey Steve,

Awesome PC! Three things:

Can you transfer Esgalwen to my username? Go to EDIT by the character's name and then go down to the TRANSFER box and type in my username - tomcat. That will give me complete control of that PC.

Second, I invited Idunn to the to campaign on the profiler. Just click EDIT by her name and accept the invite. That will give me GM rights to that PC.

Lastly, Paul is right - the River Blooded trait is a Cultural Virtue, which means you still get a Cultural Blessing for your character and that Virtue would have needed to be bought with a Wisdom increase.

One other thing - the Tale of Years thread...

I would love it if you guys would be the ones that did that campaign synopsis. Update it whenever you all want, but maintain a month to month / year to year journal.

:-[  Well, I'll be... is my face red. Sorry about that, Paul. You are totally right. I have no idea how I missed that.

Well that changes things a bit doesn't it.

Alright, I'll try to make the corrections sometime in the next 24 hours or so.

Peace,
Ayrn

Also, Doug, I think I already transferred Esgalwen to your account. (I hope so! She doesn't appear on mine anymore!)

No worries, mate.  I just didn't want you to diddle yourself out of something that might literally be the difference between life and death someday.

Also, Idunn's from Black Tarn Hall?  Is she one of Amaleoda's family, or someone who came after the Folk Moot of 2946?  We should work out how she and Arbogast feel about each other (they'll know each other - it's not a big enough place for them not to).  It got attacked recently - what was she up to?  Probably tending lots of burn and stabbing victims, given her skills, but there might have been some high drama and thrilling heroics in there as well.

Cool.  That'll give us something to do when the story slows down a little.

EDIT: I notice there's no picture of Bandy in the Fellowship portraits any more.  Does this mean IMPLICATIONS?

Oops! Not sure how that happened.

I think when his Player left, that I was planning on writing him out of the story, but then Tom took up his role.

I will return him to the company!

Thanks for calling that to my attention.

If I could apply this sort of attention to detail to my actual work, I'd be a much more successful man.

I've got a post taking shape in my head, but first I have a tort law exam and a bunch of work to do.  Hopefully this afternoon I'll be able to put something down.
