Kara takes the damage and is almost slain (or at least blown unconscious...) and decides it is time to go

The grenade clinked on the floor and Kaida looked up as it exploded. She was thrown back against the kitchen wall from the pressure wave and she then felt hot metal stab into her body in multiple places. Not far away from her, Kara was also caught in the blast. The Corellian felt as if her gut had been punched as the air was taken from her lungs. Shards of the grenade tore into her clothes and flesh and she felt woozy - almost in shock. The battle had become too real. One of their comanions was dead; the droid was now being strafed with autofire and she was close to either passing out or worse.

Kara ran.

She reached the ladder and in a few quick bounds, emerged on the second floor under Brim as the Rodian cut the roof hatch open.

Caden still hadn't been able to raise anyone on the comlink, but the sights and sounds at the prison made it clear that at least some of his companions were still in the fight. He decided it was time to set the Aegis down... and hope the roof held - it wasn't a landing pad.

Crushing various air vents as he set down, Caden kept the repulsors on high, ready to leave at a moment's notice.
He re-targeted the anti-personnel cannon, and saw the lightsaber poke through the roof as it began to creak... he hoped they still had time.
