Darkan put on his best smile.  "Greetings, Your Highness.  Welcome to the Columbia.  It is good to see you arrived safely.  May I introduce... [senior staff who didn't join the Away Team].  You remember [X, Y, Z], of course."  He takes in any introductions from her.

"As there is some time before the meal is ready, I see no reason why we couldn't take that tour of the ship I promised?" he asks, offering her his arm.  So far there was nothing wrong, nothing that Mia couldn't understand as a part of his duty as captain.

Isaboul smiled and took Darkan's arm, "Captain... that would be wonderful." She looked back to her staff and nodded for them to follow... those that wished to. The princess allowed the captain to lead her and only Corbin and two of her closest ladies stayed with them. The other Hydraen females allowed their escorts to give them a private tour.

Ashanta went to Pushkin and the Russian smiled broadly as she approached. Saleesia went to stand by Stonn who immediately started to fidgit from her proximity. Grahm found himself looking at a beautiful Hydraen woman that called herself Lijeea and he felt his heart begin to beat a bit more rapidly. Only Dr. Tam was ignored but the doctor was quite intrigued with how quickly the females settled in with a male counterpart. Tam also made a mental note as he watched Townshend walk from the hangar in a hurry.

Darkan started his tour on Deck-2, showing Isaboul the ceremonial placard of the NCC-1830 Columbia. All the while, the ship and her crew worked in earnest to find out if the sensor readings were a danger.

OOC: For some reason, I'm now getting flashes of Darkan and Isaboul kissing right before the world goes to hell just like the doctor and Cylon in Battlestar Gallactica.

This is how a lot of the time during the tour went with Isaboul on his arm.  Proud to show off his ship and his crew, yet Darkan began to feel a dark hole within him -- guilt.  No matter how much he tried to shrug it off, his heart belonged to Mia yet his immediate desire was for the woman next to him.  He kept up his mask as best he could, hoping she wouldn't notice.
