Sam searched the crates and found few items of use. Undeterred, he went to one of the large consoles and saw that it was tied to the prison's communication tower and dish. An idea came to the droid as to how they could be warned of any presence in the maintenance room when it came time to their infiltration. He quickly began to type a small batch file program that he hid discreetly within the mainframes operating system. Sam then took a small bit of wire and connected it like an antenna to the inside of the maintenance shack's door controls. The entire project took him less than ten minutes and if it worked - for there was no way to test it - would ping him via the communication tower should anyone open the shack's door.

The droid was content with his work and moved to the manhole and disappeared back down into the lower tunnel. Once down, Sam saw Brim and Britton both trying to find a way to squeeze into the collapsed corridor, all the while Kara shook her head and smiled. There was no chance for anyone to use that passageway without heavy equipment to clear it. Accepting that the only entrance was the manhole, the man and Rodian gave up and the team moved out of the mutants' lair and into a length of cleaner smelling tunnel. There they all hunkered down and rested while awaiting their opportunity to enter the prison.

Time passed.

Logar watched the night sky as it bloomed with countless stars. There was no light or smog to obscure the sky, save the glow that lay on the horizons, reflected light from the gas giant planet. He sat in silence watching and listening, but nothing moved or made noise, save the water and falls not far away. His blaster lay by his side, but the long steel of his vibro-bayonet lay across his lap. Logar muttered whispers to the knife he called Katherine.

Time passed.

He wasn't asleep, but the hypnotic sound of the falls had lulled him and Logar jumped a moment when Kaida came to his side. It was time.

:ooc: Okay, it is relatively 4:00 AM on the planetoid. Sam was not pinged from his alert system that he set up - but there is no guarantee that it worked.

Logar grinned at Kaida, he stood and checked his gear. He clipped the bayonet home onto his rifle. "Ok, im ready. Bring on the revolution."

Britton wiped his palms on his jump suit and looked around the room at the assembled team. "Ok this is it. We are going to move out of this tunnel and into the maintenance room. We will move out of there, into the hallway and immediately move up to the second floor storage area. From there we will move into the control room, seize the control room as quietly as possible and try to find our prisoner. We need to be quiet so don't fire the blasters unless you have to. Once in the supply area we will try and rush the control room, violence of action. Brim, you and your lightsaber will have the rear, Logar you and kathrine on point and I'll be behind you with my swords. Any last minute thoughts?"

Once more, the team returned to the mutants' lair and the ladder rings that ascended into the prison. Logar hung his blaster over his shoulder and leapt up the ladder. He disappeared through the ceiling with Britton close on his tail. The other members followed in order, the Rodian bringing up the rear.

Logar reached the manhole cover and put his shoulder into it, hoisting it up. He was relieved to see Sam's detection system had worked for the maintenance shack was empty. The soldier unlimbered his rifle and took up a position by the door as the others finished their climb.

Kaida stood by the manhole and helped the others up and then took out her Blaster pistol, praying she'd never have to use it while she quietly followed the lead members.

Britton waited for the whole team to get into the room. He glanced quickly at the computers and thought that maybe they should spend some time and try and hack into them and then gave up the idea. Violence of Action would get them out of here. With a pistol one hand and a sword in the other he motioned for Logar to enter into the hall and take the stairs to storage level and then into the control room.

:ooc: All right, I have all the maps completed for the inside of the prison to match the overall layout.

I do not want to assume that you guys are doing things, so if you are trying to be stealthy, give me a stealth roll. I will only call for tests as I need them.

Logar nodded to Britton and the group. He moved into the hallway, Katherine leading the way. He was not a stealthy sort but tried to move quietly.

Sam fell in line, blaster readied. He kept watch with his enhanced sensors, but had none of the anxiety that might plague the humans (and near-humans). There was a task. There was a plan to accomplish it. That's all he needed. He crept along with the rest, but wondered if speed might be more advantageous. He scanned the hallways for signs of sensors or cameras that might even now be betraying their location.

Logar nodded at Britton's silent order and pushed the control panel to open the door. It slid open with a slight hiss of air and revealed a long corridor, sterile in color and illuminated by flourescents. The walls and floor showed signs of age, but upkeep, as the garrison here probably had little often to do.

Sam looked along the ceiling both inside the maintenance shack, as well as along the corridor and noticed the camera security system. It was at the far end of the corridor where it entered into the main prison, and he was certain that it could not see them in their current position The droid also could only assume that there was one above the door outside this room. It would most likely have a scope of vision of the stairs and the corridor going down towards the prison.

Brim knelt on his haunches, listening intently for any sounds, but only heard silence. The silence was reassuring that they as yet had not been discovered, or most certainly alarms would be sounding. He whispered, "The stairs up to the second floor and then the control room, right? Do we rush it from here, or attempt to make it undetected?"

:ooc: The map attached displays the maintenance room exit and the barracks. It is all displayed, but obviously you guys can't see what is in the barracks - only have your schematics. The drawn lines show the field of vision for the cameras.

"I doubt they have motion sensors as people would be coming in and out of the rooms. There is a chance the guy who watches them isnt. Lets try and rush past them up the stairs and make straight for the control booth. Unless someone has a better idea."

"Any way to use these terminals to slice into the camera feed so and make our movements invisible?" She didn't know much about computers, but all the holovids seemed to show computers being able to do that kind of stuff.

"If not, then lets rush the control room."
