OOC: He was? I missed that... anyway, I'd think you'd have the final say in that decision since you were engaged in mortal combat, so don't feel obligated to take a sword in the back.

OOC: It's not a problem, he's not a stationary target either -- his attacks were always on the move and, yes, someone called out, who had initiative greater, for the riders to take on the archers, so he wheels around to do so.  Besides there were plenty of others nearby to handle this foe.  He's young and follows orders in the heat of battle.
