:ooc: The orc's will beat a hasty retreat, or at least try.

I need to make an Athletics roll for the two remaining orcs:

TN 16 Athletics by Orc
:00: chieftain 1d12 : 8, total 8
Rolled 3d6+5 : 4, 4, 3 + 5, total 16

:00: soldier 1d12 : 12, total 12

Nimronyn [Sindarin Pale gleam] superior keen, superior grievous longsword - orc bane
Foe-slaying - when attacking a bane creature, reduce Edge of weapon by value of bearer's Valour

Shadow bane [when in Forward stance, add 1 success die to each attack]
Skirmisher [if carried encumbrance is 12 or less, increase Parry by +3 when in close combat stance]

Grimbeorn's axe slashed deeply and the orc chieftain growled in the pain. Holding its own weapon forward, it grumbled, "This is not done Bear-man!"

Its threat delivered, the orc ran into the river water, grabbing hold, and then climbing into the crude boat that his allies were already steering into the current.

The chieftain's companion was not so lucky, as it sunk into the quag and was stranded on the shore. The companions hefted their own weapons and converged.
