Thanksgiving this week in the US. May just be busy.

That would explain it.  I'll give him another day or so and then bring Esgalwen on stage myself.  No need to continue holding up the whole game.

Also, what with what's coming this year and the Beorning succession the one after, this is now going to be a big couple of years for the Fellowship of the Helm!

Sorry, guys - a new chapter is still coming but life stuff keeps getting in the way.

No worries, Paul.

Take all the time you need. Holiday months are always busy for me at this end.

I'll start up a new thread tomorrow - hopefully in the morning at my end.

Or perhaps not?  Let's see how the conversation goes...

Hi everyone.  I hope your Yule is as happy as mine (which is pretty damn happy, in case you're wondering).

:ooc: Niiiiiice character work, guys.  There'll be a new thread up later today.

Quote from: tomcat on Jan 05, 2022, 12:53 PM:ooc: Paul - I understand that you probably have some other background reasoning for the two Easterlings and the Northwoman, but I am just playing to what I believe would be Esgalwen's prejudices and resentments. If anything, my post is just fill... unless, of course, I have secretly tapped into your motives.  >:D If so, then we will see if she was right!  ;D
The beautiful thing about telling a story on this kind of timescale is that you can introduce things that just represent the changes going on in the world.  I'm sure that these three will find a fine new home and you'll never hear from them again.  Cross my shrivelled, black GM heart.

I played in a discord game tonight for 2e. my character was the guide and I managed the journey journal. I have to say that the journey rules in 2e are a huge advantage over the Byzantine Reckoning for Easter that occurs in 1e.

No multiplication, no having to come up wit specific hazards on the fly. Easy to manage and quick to resolve but still adds flavor to the game.
